1. What this notice covers
This notice outlines how we at Niroobini Technologies process personal information when you utilize NirtsCAD at https://cad.nirts.in (the “Site” / “App”).
Product status (high level): https://cad.nirts.in is in production for the core application. Google Sign-In and the AI chat assistant may be enabled in phases; once those features are active, this notice applies to them as described below.
Our general website privacy notice remains at https://nirts.in/privacy-policy. If there are any conflicts, this NirtsCAD notice takes precedence concerning NirtsCAD.
2. Summary
Account: If you use Google Sign-In, we process basic identity data from Google (such as email, name, and a stable Google user identifier) and utilize cookies/session mechanisms so you can remain signed in.
CAD data: NirtsCAD is not provided as a hosted drawing vault. You bear the responsibility of saving and exporting your work to your own devices or systems unless we explicitly offer a separate cloud-storage feature and describe it in an updated notice.
AI assistant & API keys: To utilize the AI assistant, you might provide a Google AI (Gemini) API key (or another supported key). We may securely store that key on our servers in an encrypted format, allowing the assistant to operate without the need for you to paste the key every time. We use it solely to deliver the Service you request (for instance, sending your prompts to the AI provider using your key) and for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting as outlined below.

3. Information we collect
3.1 Google Sign-In (when enabled)
We may receive from Google:
Email address, display name, and Google subject identifier (“sub”).
We issue/maintain a session cookie (or similar) for authentication.
3.2 Account record (when enabled)
We may keep a user account record within our systems (such as Google Cloud / Firestore) that contains the identifiers mentioned above and basic account metadata (for example, last login time).
3.3 AI assistant — prompts and encrypted API keys (when enabled)
If you enable the AI assistant:
Chat content: We process the text you send (along with the necessary technical context sent to the model to ensure the assistant functions correctly) to contact the AI provider.
API key storage: We may store your API key on our servers in encrypted form, linked to your account, allowing us to initiate and continue AI sessions on your behalf.
Provider terms: Your utilization of Google AI / Gemini is also governed by Google’s terms and policies for that product.
3.4 Technical & security data
We may process IP addresses, device/browser type, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and security signals to operate and secure the Service.
3.5 Support
If you email us, we will process the contents of your message.
4. How we use information
We utilize information to:
Provide, operate, and secure NirtsCAD (including authentication and AI features when enabled)
Troubleshoot and enhance reliability
Comply with legal requirements and respond to lawful requests
Communicate with you regarding the Service
We do not claim ownership of your CAD drawings.
5. Legal bases (high level)
Depending on applicable law, we rely on fulfilling a contract, legitimate interests (such as security, reliability, and product operation), and, where necessary, consent (for example, for optional analytics or marketing should we introduce these in the future).
6. Sharing and processors
We employ service providers to operate the Service, including:
Google (for Sign-In; and Google AI / Gemini when you provide a key for the assistant)
Cloud infrastructure (such as Google Cloud) that hosts APIs, databases, and encrypted secrets.
We may share information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.
We do not sell personal information in the conventional sense of “selling for cash.” Should we introduce advertising analytics, we will amend this notice and your choices accordingly.
7. Security (including API keys)
We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, which includes encrypting stored API keys at rest and limiting access on a need-to-know basis.
No method of transmission or storage is entirely secure.
8. Retention
We retain information as long as necessary to provide the Service and meet legitimate business needs (including security and legal compliance), after which we will delete or de-identify data where appropriate.
You may request the deletion of your account data as outlined in Section 11; removing your stored API key may deactivate the AI assistant until you supply a new key.
9. Cookies
We utilize cookies and similar technologies as necessary for authentication and operational functionality of the site. The broader cookie banner/notice on nirts.in may also apply where relevant.
10. International transfers
Your information may be processed in India and/or other countries where our providers operate, in accordance with applicable law.
11. Your choices and rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or port certain data, and to retract consent when processing is based on consent.

12. Children
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13 (or the minimum age as per your jurisdiction).
13. Changes
We may update this notice. The last updated date at the top will change; significant changes may be communicated as mandated by law or via in-product notifications.
