This notice describes how we process personal information when you use NirtsCAD at https://cad.nirts.in (the “Site” / “App”).

Product status (high level): https://cad.nirts.in is in production for the core application. Google Sign-In and the AI chat assistant may be enabled in phases; when those features are on, this notice applies to them as described below.

Our general website privacy notice remains at https://nirts.in/privacy-policy. If anything conflicts, this NirtsCAD notice controls for NirtsCAD.

• Account: If you use Google Sign-In, we process basic identity data from Google (for example email, name, and a stable Google user identifier) and use cookies / session mechanisms so you can stay signed in.

• CAD data: NirtsCAD is not offered as a hosted drawing vault. You are responsible for saving and exporting your work to your own device or systems unless we clearly ship a separate cloud-storage feature and describe it in an updated notice.

• AI assistant & API keys: To use the AI assistant, you may provide a Google AI (Gemini) API key (or another key we support). We may store that key on our servers in encrypted form so the assistant can run without you pasting the key every time. We use it only to provide the Service you request (for example sending your prompts to the AI provider using your key), and for security, abuse prevention, and troubleshooting as described below.

We may receive from Google:

• Email address, display name, and Google subject identifier (“sub”)
• We issue / maintain a session cookie (or similar) for authentication.

We may maintain a user account record in our systems (for example Google Cloud / Firestore) containing identifiers above and basic account metadata (for example last login time).

If you enable the AI assistant:

• Chat content: We process the text you send (and related technical context we send to the model to make the assistant work) as needed to call the AI provider.
• API key storage: We may store your API key on our servers in encrypted form, associated with your account, so we can initiate and continue AI sessions on your behalf.
• Provider terms: Your use of Google AI / Gemini is also governed by Google’s terms and policies for that product.

We may process IP address, device/browser type, timestamps, diagnostic logs, and security signals to operate and protect the Service.

If you email us, we process what you send.

We use information to:

• Provide, operate, and secure NirtsCAD (including authentication and AI features when enabled)
• Troubleshoot and improve reliability
• Comply with law and respond to lawful requests
• Communicate with you about the Service

We do not claim ownership of your CAD drawings.

Depending on applicable law, we rely on performance of a contract, legitimate interests (security, reliability, product operation), and where required consent (for example for optional analytics or marketing if we add them later).

We use service providers to run the Service, including for example:

• Google (Sign-In; and Google AI / Gemini when you supply a key for the assistant)
• Cloud infrastructure (for example Google Cloud) used to host APIs, databases, and encrypted secrets

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect rights, safety, and integrity.

We do not sell personal information in the traditional “sale for cash” sense. If we introduce advertising analytics, we will update this notice and choices.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypting stored API keys at rest and limiting access on a need-to-know basis.

No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

We retain information as long as needed to provide the Service and for legitimate business needs (for example security and legal compliance), then delete or de-identify where appropriate.

You may request deletion of your account data as described in Section 11; removing your stored API key may disable the AI assistant until you provide a new key.

We use cookies and similar technologies as needed for authentication and site operation. Your broader website cookie banner / notice on nirts.in may also apply where relevant.

Your information may be processed in India and/or other countries where our providers operate, consistent with applicable law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, or port certain data, and to withdraw consent where processing is consent-based.

The Service is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction).

We may update this notice. The Last updated date at the top will change; material changes may be communicated as required by law or by in-product notice.
